Are you aware of and understand the context and impact of IDEA 2004? Individuals with Disabilities Education Act, 20 U.S.C. Section 1402 (a). IDEA is a Federal Statute follwed by State Educational Agencies (SEA's) Iowa Dept. of Education, Area Educational Agencies (AEA's) and Local Educational Agencies (LEA's) 367 individual School Districts all involved with with our students Learning Disability (LD) situation and Individual Education Programs (IEP's) and Federal "No Child Left Behind Act" (NCLB).
