Educational Urban Outreach program at OSU Extension ?– Franklin County is seeking to fill three Program Assistant positions. These positions are AmeriCorps*VISTA (Volunteers In Service to America) positions and will begin in July 2002. Job responsibilities will include: recruitment and retention of class participants, program development, grant research and writing, partnership building, editor of newsletter and marketing of classes and community events. Requirements include: Associate?’s Degree or higher. Enjoys being a part of a team as well as working independently. Must be a self-starter. Computer skills including Word and Excel are needed. Strong oral and written skills needed. Previous experience with grant writing and/or marketing will be a big plus. Enjoys working with diverse groups of people. Has access to reliable transportation.
