MEMORIAL PLAYGROUND BUILD

As you may know, Mecklenburg County Park and Recreation and the Partners for Parks Foundation have been raising funds to build a playground in memory of the students and teachers lost at the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting in Newtown, Conn.

Park Road Park

Monday, October 27^th - Friday, October 31^st at Noon.

There will be 2 shifts each day, 8am – noon and 1pm -5pm.

We’ll need about 250 Volunteers for each shift with opportunities for both trained and untrained Volunteers. 

We are looking for individuals with Hearts, Hands and ENERGY that are ready to help us build this very special Playground!!
