Below are a few updates and volunteer requests that we hope you have a chance to join/attend!
Happy Holidays!

New Madison Park Website is Live
After a great deal of work from our Volunteer web developer, Jim Sanders, and myself I’m happy to say that our new website is Live and ready for you to take a spin! As with most website launches there could be hiccups so please bear with us if anything comes up. Here’s the link:
Be sure to check-out the informational data for Safety and Neighborhood Resources as well as our Sponsor link to see the local business who Support Madison Park (thank you!)!
The Blog Post is a great place to view what others are chatting about (or services they are looking for) in the neighborhood so be sure to setup a Login ID to allow you to post your own discussions and get the conversations started. You may view Posts without a login.
The former HOA site (http://www.neighborhoodlink.com/Madison_Park) will stay up and may be used for Historical information and postings.
Check it out and we hope you Enjoy!
Social Meetup (2nd Friday of the month)
Come out and join our ever-growing neighborhood Social Meet-up which for 2015 will take place on the Second Tuesday each month from 5:30 - 8:00 with locations to be announced by the HOA! Our next social will be on Jan. 9 at Brazwell’s Pub from 5:30 - 8:00!
The socials are a great way to meet your neighbors so head over to Brazwell's and join in on the fun!
HOA Monthly Meeting - New Time and Location
Don’t forget that the HOA monthly meetings will be held at Pinewood Elementary (Media Center) from 7:00 - 8:00 starting at the Jan. 12 meeting. Principal Pegram will be on hand each month to update the neighborhood on upcoming events at the school as well as answer questions residents may have regarding the school, teachers and any other questions you may have.
A huge Thank You to Pinewood Elem. and Ms. Pegram for allowing us to hold our meetings at their facility and for the continued partnership between the neighborhood, students and Pinewood staff!
Volunteers Needed for Pinewood Elem. "GENIUS HOUR”
Pinewood Elem will hold it’s “Genius Hour” on the first and third Thursdays of the month from Feb-Apr (dates being 2/5, 2/19, 3/5, 3/19, 4/2, 4/16) we need YOU to help young students find the "genius" in them! Genius Hour encourages children to join educational clubs to expand learning opportunities and to have Fun!
Genius Hour runs from 6-7pm and we would love Volunteers to help offer a variety of clubs to fuel their passion for subjects that don't often get much attention during the school day, such as Art, Gardening, Sports & Recreation, and Science! If you would like to Lead a club and/or create a new one please let us know..the more options for the children, the better!
We will also have opportunities for adults to participate in learning opportunities and upcoming volunteer efforts so stay tuned for more in 2015!
If you are interested or would like more information (especially if you have an idea for another club), please email Laura Handler at laurak.handler@gmail.com.
Thank you!
