Student Painters & tossed flyers

Posted in: Madison Park

Turned out one of my new neighbors is one of the managers for Student Painters.  The company that tossed out the bags illegally a few weeks ago along some of our streets, and again over night.

He has about 25 workers painting his house today and Sunday.   The flyer overnight invites neighbors to stop by 5214 Londonderry Saturday May 2 and Sunday May 3rd for a free hot dog and a free estimate on Your Home.   Also for a Chance to Win a discount on a project on your home.

Sherwin Williams is working with the student painters this weekend at my neighbors home at 5214 Londonderry.

Anyway my neighbor said he was unaware some of the staff was tossing the flyers.  CMPD had reported that they contacted the company via their phone number leaving messages twice at our March 2015 HOA meeting after complaints from some of our residents.    I told him it was illegal to toss these type things out.  It is actually a CMPD violation and not handled by code enforcement.   Anything being passed out must be attched to the homes front door or handed to the resident.

I did see some of the tossed packages being picked up today by some of the students.   Check out the work if you are interested in your home being painted.     My neighbor said he has been working with this business / students for about 7 years in the Charlotte Market.
