Black Charlotte Pride - Volunteers Needed 

Black Charlotte Pride will be from 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm on Saturday, July 18th at the Carole Hoefener Community Center 610 E. 7th Street, Charlotte, NC 28202. Wedgewood is has a sponsor table (and two chairs).  We need Wedgewoodians to staff the table and tell people who stop by the table about our church. There are a limited amount of parking spaces so please park across the street in the parking lot ($5).  Let Chris know asap if you can help.

Charlotte Pride - Volunteers Needed 
This year we are sharing a booth with United Church of Christ churches (Holy Covenant, Charlotte, and Trinity United Church of Christ, Concord).  We also are walking in the Sunday parade with the other churches.  The parade is at 1 pm.  

We're using VolunteerSpot (the leading online signup and reminder tool) to organize our upcoming activity.

John Crowell has returned from a visit to the National Institute of Health.  He had hoped for some clarity on responding to post surgery (brain) problems but did not get any.

Deacons Lunch Meeting 
Deacons have a lunch meeting this Sunday after worship.  Lunch is at Baoding, in the  Sharon Shopping Center near Homegoods, 4722 Sharon Rd, Charlotte, NC 28210.
Peanut Butter & Jelly Sandwich Ministry 

We need volunteers to do the Sandwich walk at 3 pm on August 2 and August 16.


 We need Peanut Butter, Jelly and bread this Sunday.  We need volunteers to make sandwiches after church.

Pastor Chris wants you in the Pastor Ensemble this Sunday.  The Ensemble is singing Lord Build Me A Cabin In Gloryland.  Practice is at 9:30 this Sunday in the sanctuary.
