Strange we had two of these yesterday. I wonder if they might be deliveries stolen. |

CMPD just confirmed as I suspected that one of these was a Fed X delivery taken from the front porch.
The other on Seneca Place was a flag and pole removed from the property.
Throw in at least two bicycles have been taken in the surrounding area over the last month.
One neighbor told me she put things out for the Kidney Foundation. She saw a white box truck remove the items. It turned out it was not the Kidney Foundation.
So some thieves are just driving around looking for anything not nailed down to steal.
Secure your property and try and schedule deliveries when you are going to be home. Use online tracking to know approximately what day your item is coming. I normally will have delivery companies provide me tracking updates on status. It is free and it gives you a time-line to expect delivery. They will even send you a message when the package is delivered. If you are not home maybe you can get a neighbor to move the package to a more secure area or hold it at their home. |
