Sign up for a 2 year special in May 2014 and the first bill is higher than advertised.

 

Took you 6 weeks to install the permanent line to my house.  

Every other week 1 crew said going in the air, next crew that came out said no in the ground.  This happened for 6 full weeks.  Meanwhile the line laid in the middle of my rear yard where I had to cut the grass.   I finally said lay it on the ground behind the hedges and be done with it.   This after I had 4 AT&T trucks in front of my house and the worker, supervisor, and yes the Supervisor / Supervisor.  I the homeowner comes up with the solution.

 

Then first bill comes and you charged 5 cents a minutes for calls including the hours I spent on the 1800 line trying to get my line installed.    You suggest I switch to the $35 plan covers everything naitonwide.    Forget that the other plan I signed up under stated in writing 200 minutes anytime and free unlimited to other AT&T customers.     That You said was a misprint.

 

I do the 90 days free movies offer, but I was charged partial fees 1st month and then again last month.   I decided to add movies.

 

Things go fine for next several months until I download the free McAfee internet package end of August 2015.  NOTE FREE!   Next thing I see an alert that I am having some fee discount expire in 14 days.   What?  14 days.  My package is good from May 2014 until May 2016.  I contact you via My chat and was assured that no changes would happen until May 2016.    Great.    Next time I log in 2 weeks later I see the alert is back.   I contact you once again.  30 more minutes of my life in a chat.   You say just ignore the alert.  I assure you there will be no changes to your account.

 

Well great! 

 

Last night bill comes in and it has increased from the prior 16 months.  I look and compare the bill.    I discover now at the top of the bill that I have a new account fee charge?

 

I contact you via chat again this morning and this time I spend more than 30 minutes getting the same BS lines.  You have contacted the right person.   I am here to help you. . Blah Blah Blah     CS assuring me they would take care of the issue.  Then finally at the end of the chat tells me sorry I can't help you this is equipment fee charges?  Why all of a sudden did I start getting equipment fee charges.  I am guessing you are just charging me for McAfee and calling it something else. 

 

I  request the CS check the chat logs from the prior to calls including the last one a week ago that says just ignore the alert that the bill is changing.  CS today says he can't find any note to such on my account?    BS

 

I am canceling my service, although the online line chat person says I will have to call the specialist on Monday morning to do it myself.   He can't help.

 

Anyway AT&T is full of Bull ..........!    I don't care if they offer it to me for free I am switching and I will never switch back.

If you are a new neighbor and about to sign on to AT&T I would think twice before doing it.   They will find some way to stick it to you.
