Description: RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY

Let your neighbors know that crime is increasing and to stay alert since we are not sending out alerts from the HOA this year for some reason.

Remember we have a better chance to prevent a crime, or at least report strangers in our community, more than the police.  Reason we have many more eyes in the community than CMPD.

We have to help them do their jobs.

Calling 911 will let those up to criminal activity know that we are a neighborhood watching like our neighborhood watch signs say.   That way they will move on to another part of Charlotte and leave us alone.

You do not have to give your name to CMPD or be contacted by police when you call.   They will ask if you wish to speak to an officer when they come out.  If you don't care to speak to the officer, simply say no when you call 911.

Officer Mohammad said it is helpful though if you let the officer have a number in case they need to get more info when they come out.   They will protect your privacy.
