Putting signs up in the right of way is illegal and could result in $100 per sign you put up in the right of way. Signs works as follows:
1 - 5 $100 each, 6 - 10 $500 each, and 11 beyond $1000 each.
Even worse is leaving them up.
5531 Farmbrook and 2100 Stonewood Drive both had signs littering Tyvola that were from 10/31/15 up today.
These things don't remove themselves.
Please Stop Littering.
Putting any sign on City property, within 11 feet of curb, or in medians or planting strips is illegal.
Includes Yard Sales, Lost Pets, Political and even Realtor signs. All signs not placed by CDOT or NCDOT.
Tyvola is a Madison Park HOA Adopt A Street we keep it clean from Old Pineville Road to Park Road. Code enforcement also pulls signs anytime they see them.
