We've Moved!

The weekend of December 18th, Code Enforcement moved into our new offices. Here's what you need to know about our move:

  • ??‹Our new address is 2145 Suttle Avenue, Charlotte??‹, the former Charlotte School of Law Building. The facility has ample parking and more meeting space to serve our customers better. ??‹ Read more about our new facility here.
  • Our new building came with an improved phone system. There's now one number for all of your Code Enforcement answers: 980-314-CODE (2633). You can still dial our staff directly, but many extensions have changed due to our new phone system. Look up a direct extension here
  • We have new fax numbers??‹, too. Please make a note of them.
  • Our e-mail addresses have not changed.
  • Our new building features a Customer Service Center??‹ designed to better serve our customers as they navigate the permitting and inspections process.

Upcoming Training for Contractors and Design Professionals

On January 6th, Building Code Administrator Jeff Vernon and Mega-Multifamily Inspections Manager Andy Herring will conduct a two-hour training entitled "Constructability and Continuity of Fire-Preventative Construction," from 10 a.m. to noon, immediately following the January building consistency meetings, in the Pine-Fraser Fir Conference Rooms at our new Suttle Avenue facility. All contractors and design professionals with an interest are welcome to attend.

Pine-Frasier Fir is on the fourth floor of our office building. Anyone in the lobby or at the fourth floor reception desk can direct you.
