I understand from one of the volunteers that has been watering trees at Madison Central Park that the trees that were installed as part of the Keep Charlotte Beautiful Award Grant last Fall 2015 are in desperate need of water.
PLEASE stop by with a milk jug or two of water and choose a tree in need. During dry spells we need people to help out doing this until the trees obtain strong roots and can manage on their own during dry spells.
Hopefully it will start raining soon and help out with this issue. We had a lot of rain last fall and I was hoping that would help get them off on the right foot.
