Guess this is Why Observer is turning off comments for most stories on Shooting

Posted in: Madison Park

People are fed up with the lies: “it was a book!” (it was a gun); “he doesn't have a gun” (yes he does), “he was a good, peaceful, loving family man incapable of violence” (with a long history of violence with weapons, a prison term for assault with a deadly weapon, a restraining order by his wife after beating an 8 year old child with his fist and threatening the wife and child with a gun, and telling them they need to understand he is a "killer", even shooting at police in Texas). People don’t know how police defending themselves against this man who is holding a gun and will not drop it despite multiple commands to do so warrants kicking in doors and stealing Hornets jerseys, breaking windows and looting stores, attacking whites, blocking the interstate and breaking into semi trailers and looting and burning the contents. People don’t understand how police defending themselves against a proven, documented violent armed criminal warrants such savage, tribal rioting. People don’t understand how and why rioters and activists would blame police for the killing of one thug by another thug with a bullet that may well have been intended to hit police officers.
Blacks ain’t the only ones that are “woke”; and whites can “boycott” a lot more than stores and businesses, like support for social programs, donations, hiring, firing.
IF YOU ARE SICK AND TIRED OF THE LIES, THE LOOTING, AND THE VIOLENCE - SEND A MESSAGE – VOTE REPUBLICAN!!

I was even told the Madison Park HOA has turned off its facebook page to comments on the subject today by a reliable source.

I had noticed the Observer had comments turned off to all stories on the subject.   Maybe they don't want to stir the anger, or maybe they don't want the world to know how poeple really feel about what is going in Charlotte.
