The only way you can register now to vote for Nov 8th is to go to an early voting site. All sites open in Mecklenburg County for Early voting starting onThursday 10/27/16.
You have missed the 25 day before election deadline to register any other way for this election. Only option again is to present in person with the required identification needed to register and vote same day.

Visit Mecklenburg Board of Elections for ballot request application. You can fax it or mail in the request form.
Also remember if you have moved within 30 days you have to vote your old precinct. If you go to early voting they can take care of everything at one place. On election day you will be directed to your new precinct or your old precicnt based on when that move happened prior to the election. Reason is your assigned precinct has no access to your correct ballot based on where you live. At Early voting all ballot styles are available.
