Join your fellow Democrats and Mecklenburg County District Court Judges tomorrow, Wednesday, April 5, 2017 at 12:30 pm. The scheduled event will take place at Mecklenburg Count Courthouse and will be in opposition to Senate Bill 306. The bill filed by two Mecklenburg County Republican State Senators Tarte and Bishop, would gerrymander Mecklenburg County's District Court into 3 separate judicial districts and negatively impact our current independent District Court system in Mecklenburg County.  As of right now, District Court Judges run at-large countywide and regularly preside over matters directly effecting citizens across Mecklenburg County. 

In order to ensure a fair and impartial District Court Judges preside over important decisions directly impacting local citizens, Mecklenburg County Democratic Party is reaching out to you in an effort to educate and empower our citizens against Senate Bill 306. Join us tomorrow and hear about this pressing issue from local Democrats and your Mecklenburg County District Court Judges.
