We are offering a extremely effective preventive treatment against the Ash Borer through a process called root injection. Root injection allows us to apply an insecticide directly into the root system of the tree, allowing it to be systemically transferred throughout the entire tree, thus providing complete protection for it.
We are using Tree-Age, which has been shown to provide anywhere from 24-36 months of protection against the Emerald Ash Borer.
We will come to your home, measure your Ash Borer trees, and then be able to provide you a quote. Please keep in mind that this treatment is good for 2-3 years, and is considerably less expensive then removing a mature Ash tree.
Certain environmental factors will effect how long each treatment will take including temperature, humidity and the size of the tree. Treatment of an average tree of a DBH (Diameter at Breast Height) of 24-26 inches can last about 25-35 minutes.
Treatment can only take place while there are leaves on the tree, so we will be busy this summer providing this service.
