Seems to me Kenn, that he should have quit, while the quitting was good.  He's quickly becoming a hasbeen.  I really doubt that he'll see much playing time as a starter, in NY.  I'm glad that the Vikes didn't pick him up.  Seems to me that the only thing we ever get are "has beens".  Farve was GREAT in his day, but, sadly, I think that his day is over!  JMHO.  Tom.

Both parties are to blame here. As big of a Packers fan I am, I heard a quote form Mike Ditka the other day that said a lot. When Walter Payton retired from the Bears, then the team moved on, changed their focus to replacing him, etc. But, if Walter Payton wanted to come out of retirement, Ditka would have welcomed him back in a second! It's Walter Freakin' Payton!

With as much as Favre did for the Packers, it's absolutely disgraceful not to let him back. McCarthy, Thompson, almost all of the "front office" haven't even been in Green Bay as long as Favre. Give the guy another year, he's earned it.

I'm still a Packers fan, but, I'll cheer for the Jets (Favre, at least) a little this year.

It is a sad situation all around but Brett brought a lot of it on himself. Flip flopping back and forth. Is the team supposed to just sit around and wait to see what he decides he wants to do.? It is not fair to have this happen time and time again, the team needed to move on.  I think Brett has gotten a bit big headed and thought he was gonna run the show the way he wanted.
