Heres something interesting, conservatives want you to do for yourself such as bushs' plan for people to use thier money for thier own retirement, as stockboy davie stated bush. A REPUBLICAN ACTUALLY CUT OUR TAXES.

Enter the dems who want the government to do for the people, hence NOBAMAS TAX INCREASES, the MORE the dems do for you davie the more of your paycheck is required!

Remember the term "cradle to the grave" that came about during the clinton era because had thier health care plan come about, the government would have controlled your health care decisions from the cradle to the grave.

Afriend of mine once said to me that the bush tax cuts were a joke as he would only save a couple hundred dollars a year. But ya know my view on it was that i was allowed to keep more of what i worked hard for.

And while your theory on taxes paying for roads, take a look at the roads in our town . as far as muscatines finest, they are a joke! I have had to deal with muscatines finest on issues and the sheriffs dept on issues. And quite frankly the sheriffs dept is more organized, the deputies that ive dealt with have been polite and understanding. While the cops have been arrogant assholes! So if u believe our taxes are going for the good of our community you are so wrong!

Gta1 - Attached you'll find a copy of a letter I sent to the editor. Not that you'll agree with my opinion, but I think it shows that I'm not a Democrat. I'm not a Republican either. I simply vote my will......

Let me state for the record I am not a Democrat nor have I ever been one. My views often support the conservative party more often than not.

That said I have never been so disappointed in a person as I am in John McCain. McCain had a real chance to become President and complete his life's dream. I don't know why, who told him too, or why he could not see the failure in the method he was choosing, but he stopped talking about the issues. In his third debate, clearly McCain's best, we saw him return to the issues..... He drew lines that separated him from Bush and more importantly drew lines that separated him from the liberal mentality. The polls showed a instant response and he came out of the third debate gaining ground. He has since returned to the name calling and terrorist conspiracy which simply holds no water and Americans simply don't care. Americans want to eat, work and live. They want a President to tell them he'll be the choice to allow that. Obama has overwhelmingly succeeded at that message. So while it has been the plea of many of McCain's supporters to discuss issues, that plea fallen upon deaf ears and now we'll see the result. Obama will win the election and we'll see just how his poetic verbiage will conquer the world and all it's evils.

At least I hope so.

Well it's certainly comforting to know that someone has finally taken the time to tell us what we Americans want, need and care about....takes all of that "free thinking" pressure off.
