A very nice and welcome effort on your part Robert. The vindictiveness and spite which has spread itself across these pages over the years is reason why I rarely come here any longer. As a successful attorney I've been accused of not being a fraud, a phoney attorney, labeled a troublemaker, had my profession besmirched (which is not such an oddity in and of itself), have been banned once, came back and was once more attacked by those who seem to believe this board is there own fiefdom to which they have been allowed to lord over while running down and yes, running off a great many good citizens who came to this board seeking stimulating conversation and thought provoking debate. Rather, the bullies had been given free rein and allowed to rule the board much like they were allowed to rule the school yard. If your yardstick of measure is based on the number of posts one has after their name then I question your sincerity in attempting to weed out those who antagonize, belittle, shout-down, run-off, and openly intimidate other posters to this board. I applaud your efforts to weed out those antagonistic denizens of this cyber jungle. A huge majority of people would love to see some changes made to this board, including the dissipation of the constant bullying and petty intimidation which is prevalent by those apparently known to you and those who have been brought to your attention. As our last election proved people want change. I believe you have it within your scope and measure to help effect the change needed to put this board on a course where all people can come and voice an opinion without fear of being attacked and drove off from future threads and topics. I truly hope you have it within you to bring about the necessary change to this forum. |
