What!?!?!?! No postings about this or the site has gone non-topical?

We know some, cops. But what might you be thinking to start with? I have heard of some pretty sad affairs regarding policeman, deeds of honor and dishonor, But in all fairness cannot say I know much about your/our local officials.

It's well known that said officers are to be held to the strictest of higher standards and chosen through a very tough character assessment, with training that mimics a military discipline. But outside of very little knowledge of any individuals, well all one can do is say I hope there isn't much of anything else too negative or great to say. We did get hung up in a road-block once that took some time while officers were checking lights, horns, even tires, but nothing too terrible. I do recall that there were state and county cars parked in every direction, looked like a major tado at first. I recall being a bit perplexed that they had nothing of probable cause for this fascist style searching. We knew that it was a "poke and hope" kinda thing. I understand though, that it is unconstitutional to stop you, just because. But for some bizarre reason, it's legal to stop EVERYBODY.Twisted up little trick if you ask me. But then we have to talk constitutionality regarding every sort of excuse under the sun officials come up with to catch a "bad Guy" I had to chuckle when my husband whispered to me as the officer approached the door, "Papers please, Hare Fraulein" SCHNELL! Then I rolled down the window and asked (her) what's the matter officer? " Just a simple safety check ma am, could I please see your vehicle registration and proof of insurance? as she peered at our safety belts snugly wrapped around our bodies. We went through all the trivialities and she waved us along. Nothing really, but we had nothing to hide, no warrants or illegal contraband.

Guess we have to look at other issues to chew on?
