Muscatine

  2nd St  has not been cleared of snow and ice?  Why is 3rd street  been plowed  but not 2nd St- anyone know?

or (any?) of the side streets downtown. my rating...4 "it sucks" out of 4.

The snow emergency routes get first priorty in snow removal.

In the past the City of Muscatine contracted downtown snow removal to Sulzberger (?) Not sure if that is still true but it has been in the past.

We were downtown last night around 6pm at Salvatores and the roads were not bad, been plowed but the parking spaces were not cleared but then that's hard to do with cars parked there all the time.

Normal winter time driving to me. They will get to clearing (hauling it away) soon I'm sure.

I feel the City crews have done another great job of keeping the streets of Muscatine cleared and safe to drive on. You have to expect some snow and ice on the roads, this is Iowa not Florida.

City crews keep up the good work and have a safe and Merry Christmas with your families. (No more ice and snow until Friday, LOL)
