Frazz, you know how we have stories about clam shells and floppy pickles? The firestone bike is kinda like along that line. Nedl had one when he was younger, I will let him tell the story. I'm gonna go get popcorn and nachos ready.

  Hi frazz. I had a Hawthorn bike. Similar to the Firestone. I think the Firestones only came in pink though. One thing about the Firestone no other bike had. They had a special seat designed for guys wearing thongs. Awesome.

So Nedl use to chase the guys riding Firestone bikes. But the thong wearing firestone gang didn't want anything to do with Nedl and his crappy Hawthorn bike. They use to make fun of him and chant "Hawthorn Hoppy!". So Nedl put together a gang of his own. It was a bunch of boys that had Hawthorn bikes and they worn halter tops. They was known as the Hawthorn Halter top gang. Lets just say that a rumble went down one day and there was halter tops and thongs flying every where.
