Boy if you snooze here you loose because I had not checked in for about 24 hours and things really happened.

There are just to many things for me to comment on because I am a real slow typist, (I think that is a word) anyhow but things are picking up for me. I am real thankful for that but I may have to choke Nedl if he does not quit messing with the weather. I am ready for the January thaw and time is running out.

Just read your post and lo and behold I see I can reply to it with my own post.  Not sure why as this situation changes for me each time I check in but I want you to know that you have been missed.  We are also envious of the fact, you escaped some cold weather and some snow.  I am wondering if Nedl warned you ahead of time and you just chose to leave the area before it came.

Get some rest and then go ice fishing.

Hi Kenn. I thought I'd post while I still can. Cheer up, It'll be warm soon. I had to bring back the cold for awhile because a bunch of ice fishermen threatened me with their augers if the ice started melting. It won't be much longer though. then I'll give you heat, bugs, weeds, snakes, tornados etc.

Well the ice fishing presents a problem being I bought a new ice auger 15 years ago. I got it out every winter and looked it over while deciding it was real cold out there. I then gave it away so that problem is taken care of.

Yes LJ, Nedl did tell me it was going to get cold and my wife said it was time for a vacation and those were the determining factors for the vacation. I am sure that you can figure out who had the most authority of the two.

I also found a 15 lb solid cast iron Rabbit that stands 12 inches high that was used as a door stop. I have been looking for another one for over 30 years so I have one for each of my kids, plus I got a real bargain on it.
