This is for the individual who posted this. When I first saw it, I thought someone had made a post in my name and this upset me. Then when I had time to think, I realized it was a very nice post and did express my sentiments. But I was disturbed that someone had posted using my name. After looking and thinking about this, I believe it was a post I made at a time when we all realized we had lost a good friend so I believe these were my actual words. So there may be a way to retrieve a post and to post it again under the original poster's name. Is that possible?
I have reported this to the neighborhood administrators so maybe they will come up with an answer. I assume that the poster's IP address will be identifiable.
Now for the original post by Jeff. I learned some time ago that we all have the right and the ability to post whatever we want. We do not need to approve or disapprove of what is posted here. I decided that the political posting here was not for me so I stopped posting. That was my decision although maybe a bad one. Things can be different if everyone will post what they feel is important or just something that needs to be shared.
The chatterbox is open and ready to receive posts so that is another avenue to be explored if anyone wants. It is not political at this point in time.
I do come here and read the posts and admit that I have learned something from everyone who posts here. I just ended up believing no one had an interest in what I posted so I just quit. So people, exert your right to post and see what transpires.
There is room here for everyone. And I said it once before, but not quite as well as Lilsmom, I love all of you and wish the best.
Jack, don't stop posting because of lack of responses. Sometimes it takes awhile to find out what kind of posts trip people's trigger. I post on several forums. On one certain forum, it's hard to generate responses, but I keep at it. On another forum, I attract responses because I'm an American conservative and most of the other posters are Great Britian liberal types. It gets heated. I got several infractions, but WTF?
