Observations- Anyone else notice

Posted in: Muscatine

Some observations I made while reflecting....

Tom posted in the early morning hours of Jan 29th, that he had spoken to chosen the day before, which is when it was revealed that chosen could not sign on here anymore. The post was titled "Chosen being banned?".

That was a week ago today he told Tom, per Tom. So I reflected back at the last week's posts and noted that since his disappearance, there have been new posters sign on who seem to enjoy posting. Also, old posters that have not posted in awhile have returned and posted even more frequently, while discussions have included everything they always have, even including political discussions.

Not to point fingers, and noting that he had several posts about how others should quit being childish, quit trolling (his favorite term), quit name-calling, and noting that NL management had to point out his own inciteful, insulting, and name-calling posts, without any acknowledgement of wrong-doing on his part; I am left wondering why this message board has now transgressed into an improved and civil site in only one week?

Is it just me, or has anyone else noted the positive changes here in the past week since he has not been posting here? And with this revelation; what could this possibly say after all that has been alleged by him over the years? Just asking....

Well big bro. we have all noticed it....everything is positive and upbeat...and all in all a great place to be............

Now for the negative......eventually chosen will be able to sign back in. When that happens this board will go back to being it was before...so we should embrace what we have now...cuz unfortunately it will change sooner or later.

Yes, Such a great place now! Even Opie is inspired to make us all laugh.

But, being the pessimist (sp?) that I am, I fear it is the calm before the storm. But I will enjoy it while it lasts.Smile
