Sleep is oh so over rated.

I can't wait for 7am and home to my warm bed.

Done with these overnights again for a few weeks.

Have a good day and try to get out and enjoy it some

Just had to check NL to see who was up and at it

You can sure tell the old farts on this board!  I've been up since 5:30.  Tired, I worked swing shift for about 20 of my 30 years at the City.  I didn't mind the shifts, just hated the "swing".  I actually preferred graveyards, IF only people would let me sleep during the day.  The phone calls never cease, the salesmen still come to the door, people mow their lawns, the dogs bark.  Even though I'm still up WAY earlier than I need to be, it sure is nice to have a "day" job again.  I ran into my "old" boss, for the first time, last week, during our conversation, I told him that it was SURE nice coming to work where you ACTUALLY enjoyed coming to work.  That's ALL of it, isn't it?  Tom.

Tom, I have never broke the habit of rising around 4:30 am in all these years. On my way for coffee I meet a lot of the horse & cattle rustlers on their way home.

I worked some third shift so I turned on the TV and a fan for noise. I also shut off the phone & doorbell so it was not to bad. The part that was hard to explain to my wife was how I could drink beer on Friday mornings. It was real simple, I was thirsty. Now is that really hard to figure out ?

She has trouble with her car stopping at yard sales and I had trouble with mine stopping at bars. I got mine fixed at retirement, but she never has so I must be smarter than her.

If she reads this I may need Nedl's couch for a week or two.
