I was at my mechanics shop this morning, when an over night Letica employee walked in.  Said that there had been an industrial accident yesterday (?) involving a fork truck driver.  Driver was killed in the accident.  Item should be in the Journal today.  Didn't get a name, but, was told that this person was a relatively new employee.  Anyone else hear anything about the incident?  Tom.

There is a young man's initial obit notice on the Journal online obits. No details though, yet.

My dad works there  and the story going around last night was just that the kid was killed on a fork truck........nobody else at work had any other info than that ....by the way my dad talked was that it was being kept under wraps until the investigation was over.......

Not confirmed but, I was told that the guy (he was a fork truck driver) was on a skyjack extended up by the ceiling and it got hung up on something so he reached thru the cage to the underside to dislodge what he was hung up on and ended up releasing the hydraulics and it collapsed therefore pulling him thru the cage and into the scissor arms and crushing him.. God rest his soul. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family.
