Clinton stated BEFORE hillary was chosen sec of state, that more should have been done under his watch......and now we are back to deny everything.

I still believe the clintons had a hand in vince fosters demise.

As far as burris, he should be removed, and prosecuted for obstruction, and perjury.........but hey this is a trait of illinois politicians.

It is frustrating, Tom.  Considering all of the fine, decent, and hardworking people you meet on a daily basis just here in town, certainly there must be an honest Democrat who can fill that position in Illinois.  Somewhere.

 I believe the discussion was credibility, honor, truthfullness as opposed to economics. But hey, as dave taught us, anyone can turn a post into anything they wish.

But since you brought it up...Clinton took office in Jan 1993 and Dems then lost control of Congress in the next year. The rest of Clinton's presidency was with R majority control of Congress. Noting that you wish to give Clinton certain economic credit; I beg to know how that happened under a R controlled Congress, who control all spending and budgets/approvals.

So, I'll be thanking those republicans that served Congress during Clinton's presidency for our "unprecedented economic prosperity" in those years; credit where credit is due.
