This is a 1942 Ford Thorco Dual Motors T8. Powered by twin Ford V-8 engines. Truck was constructed by a transportation company to perform special WW II tasks. These tractors pulled 63-1/2 foot trailers to move airplanes and glider subassemblies to plants throughout the U.S. There was about 100 of these trucks built |
