Thank you for letting us know.  I will pray for her.

Thank you so much. I have been spinning these past several days and weeks thus had not found the time, words and such. She's the communicator of the house and family. I know that she will be back home sooner than later. If I may? She has had three mini strokes and one rather serious just after making the trip back to St Louis a  few weeks ago. She did try to write but was unable to focus and articulate. I gather that she has established a writers circle of friends, and trust that although I stay away from the computer, it was clear that having this kind of avenue to talk with others has made her a very happy person. I know she can stir the pot at times but she has a heart of gold, an infectious wit and charm to match. I gave up debating and arguing with her thirty years ago.

In speaking with our daughter moments ago, I was informed that Bea had eaten quite well with little assisitance. GOOOOD NEWS. When I headed back up here last weekend she wasn't sitting up without help to get there. We went back to the doctor near home when she started to have dizzy spells after the New Year and tests revealed that she had an arterial restriction so they put her on medication immediately. Too late as she got worse. Then a day or two later she was another person, confused and slurring her words. That night she suffered a worse attack. So thank you and so many others for your kind words and generous offerings. The home is being kept by a nephew and his wife so we have plenty of help at this point and I plan to stay with her from this Sunday forward until we can come back home together. Lets hope and pray that the next letter sent regarding her is from her. Thank you all again, it means so much to us and especially her. For her, God bless you all.

thank you so much for the update.  We will continue to keep Bea in our thoughts.

She is always a voice of reason here, and genuinely tries to look at both sides of an issue.  She is opinionated without being belligerent, and we do enjoy her participation in this forum.

Give her our best, and tell her we hope she'll back writing with us soon. I hope you know too, that you can reach out to anyone on here if you find yourself in need of help when she gets home.  Just ask...we're "neighbors", and we're here if you need us.
