So, if a commercial airline were hijacked (the equivalent of a ship being pirated), would you not want military intervention simply because it wasn't a military vessel?  Would you NOT want to save the life of an American if you had the chance? 

BB, you and I will never agree on politics.  It's ok.  I normally find your arguments intelligent and provocative.  This was just plain stupid.

Clearly missed the point, lilsmom. King nobama's count started when he took office. Clearly leading Bush on timing for the same thing. I know when we went to Iraq...and I know when the count started for Bush. Nobama will surpass Bush's war dead count...simply because it started earlier in his term; that's all. The war on terrorism is not going to end soon. It's a pipe dream if you believe that. Look at the escalation of troop levels for Afghanistan. He's already broken those troop-home promises.

And you missed the point on the non-military ship issue. It isn't that the ship (or a plane) is commercial or not...its the use of the military that got Bush hated by you liberals. Liberals cried and cried that Iraq was a "police action" and did not warrant military action. I know you remember joeyboy and mislead pleading that case over and over with Iowaboy at the time; right here. I'm only citing the hipocrisy on record. Now, liberals are bragging nobama up and down for doing what they hated Bush for. Remember when liberals said do not rush to war?

I'm a military veteran and support the actions taken with the pirates. Only, nobama waited days before authorizing military action. Bush, would not have waited on this. Nobama is a puss of a military leader and has now demonstrated it.
