What's up with the trailer court speed bump (both lanes) on Lake Park Blvd?

Can anyone install these or is this some special service the "City" does for certain people/neighborhoods?

How does one go about getting one installed in their neighborhood?

They look to be just the "ticket" for slowing down traffic. Can't get the local police to do any thing about traffic problems. I've even offered to pay for the fuel to run the speed camera trailer and maintain it while it's parked along our street.

Anyone seen it in operation lately within the city?

Just a couple of questions. Bring on the comments and suggestions for me.

Have a good day. It will soon be Friday.

Don't forget Mother's Day is Sunday!!!

Thats odd, i didnt even know they did it....but then i rarely ever use Lake park blvd.....

but heres something just as strange....we live in L&B trailer ct....we live on a one way street..yet most of the morons ignore the one way sign and drive the wrong way on it..and never get busted, and the other thing is the city wont touch our streets...supposedly private property, but yet if you park your cars nose to nose..the cops will give u a ticket......so apparently its considered private property if the city has to spend money there..i.e. plowing and public if theres money to be made..i.e. parking tickets................

Summy (? still the owner of L&B?)

He most likely has a deal with the PD to enforce parking.

Sort of a free pass on private property.

Otherwise I don't know how the PD can write tickets for parking.

Private Property/snow plowing that always used to be a real joke with Summy. Kind of when they got around to it and up the middle and that's goos enough.

But just be late with the lot rent and see what happens.

Question, you don't have to answer if you don't want to, do you own or rent and if you own what's the going rate for lot rent.

We owned down there about 10 years ago and I think lot rent then was $125.00 or so.

Have a good day and enjoy your weekend.

Yeah Summy still owns it.....we own our trailer...my wife is the one who takes the money down ..but i think we pay 220.00...they charge so much per person..it kinda sucks but its not bad...i know my ex step-daughter is paying over 200.00 at ripleys...

the one thing i've never figured out though with trailers is that you rent the ground but still pay property taxes.....which arent too bad, its like 100.00 per year...

snowplowing is the same, a path up the middle....and they never use salt
