Muscatine

I took a group of people down to the Elms last Saturday evening for an appreciation dinner, and, asked Jeanne about what was going on.  She informed me that the rumors had really been flying lately (about all kinds of things).  #1- she still owns it.  #2-Lunches have really picked up, so, her Mom is working most of them, so Jeanne is working a lot of night hours, and, continuing to do the books during the day.  Sounds like business is good for her/them, it certainly was the Saturday night that we was there.  Shackman.

Thanks, shack...good to know. It is good when local businesses thrive. Glad to hear it. Hope your event went well and the quality was still there. Looking forward to getting back to the Elms when we get back. Don't think we are coming back for the 4th this year. Still trying to work that out right now, though.

  The girls I work with & I went to the Elms for lunch one day recently.  The food & service was excellent for all of us!  One of the people I work with has gone to the Elms for dinner & lunch with her family and has never had a bad report. 

  I'm trying to get my husband  to take me there, instead of Applebees, Country Kitchen or Pizza Ranch.  I know that once I get him there, it will be his favorite.  They are doing a great job!    Word is getting around.  Tell them to keep it up, shackman.
