You start with an assumption which may or  may not be true and ask me to respond.   First get your question right.

A person has millions of "needs" some of which are best provided collectively and some individually.

For example, I don't want to take on the individual responsibtilty for making certain all the cars I meet are all on the right side of the road or even build the road.   Nor do I want to defend myself against ICBM's.

Another example, I do want the government to protect me against lethal drugs and foods.   Have you read the ingrediants on some of the food you eat and feel comfortable you know they're all healthy and good for you?   I do rely on the government to keep the Mississippi reasonably clean.   That's a task that is beyond me as an individual.

Ok since you continually dance around the question asked, i will ask it yet again in a way that you may answer.

Why do u feel the government should come up with yet a 3rd healthcare program when the first two are pretty much bankrupt? Why do u feel the government would be better at providing healthcare instead of you getting it for yourself?

The simple answer to that last question is that our friend MalloryDD does believe that the government would be better at providing healthcare.  It's because he/she is a liberal. Not surprising.  Not an eye-opener.  That's just what they believe.  Sad but true. 

I know DM, but i'm trying to get into the mind of a liberal....to find out why they have this massive sense of entitlement. Why they believe that our government is better at doing things rather than doing for ones self.....by the way good to see ya its been a while
