I was disappointed on this as well. After 8 years of "Bush lied", now it's not okay to say the president is lying? I'd have liked for the Congressman to have stood firm and have the critics "bring it on".

Probably it was bad form. But, I wish we could have more of our "leaders" do some face-to-face, up-front, honest finger pointing rather than depending on a biased media to do the dirty work. Eight years of watching Democrats call our President a liar on national TV got a little old. |

It was not WHAT he said. It is where and when he said it. He needs to face some sort of sanction for his outburst. We as asociety have gotten to the point that we show NO respect for anyone or anything. We all really need to re-learn to control ourselves. There are farrrrr too many folks in the world today to not treat folks civily. No I dont care for Obammer one bit. I DO respect his position and suthority as the leader of the free world. The office demands that much as I see it. When we start disrespecting the office because we dont like the guy holding it, we are on a very sliprey slope downwards to anarchy. There are somethings you just dont do and this guy did one of them. JMHO |
