Hi
You're right. I figured you were minimizing again to let us windbags know it was basically pointless to go on about the theories. You seemed to misunderstand mine though. I do not want government to start kicking up the dust of this issue by taxing us to heat or cool our homes. Never did, and I appreciate your permission to use less.
Even though President Bush began to support the Global Change notion, it has yet to be a proven fact that we are in peril so soon. Can't argue that. agreed also that we shouldn't foot the bill. Hey Santa...! I'd also love a wind generator.
Oh yes too, I finally found some posts by the istreat lady. You or whom ever got it correct. She has passed away and I had to go way back to read some of her thoughts. I'd loved to have wrote to her. Although I saw some similarity in her and my "style." I am flattered, about the vocabulary comment and what not, but hardly stood a chance of arguing with what she seemed to care about. I have no trouble budgeting here at home, but I'm by no means an accountant compared to her. I'm far from as politically charged and from some of what I was able to find, she was a whiz in the kitchen. I'm a fair cook but baking like that.....is not on my list of want to's. I read stories of a valentine's contest sponsored by a funny poster here, and reading what she wrote about made me cry. I wished her husband hadn't moved away, I bet he has some amazing memories to tell of her.
No fluff today Daryl, I am going to continue looking back and get to understand some of you fine writers, I'm amazed at how far back we can read. Have a fine day!
Lucy.
