  I like Doom & Gloom better.

 A few years back in a weak moment I subscribed to Iowa Fish & Game magazine. There was a article about fishing for crappie at Rathbun lake where the author and a game warden were fishing together and using multiple poles at different depths to find the fish.

I put the question to the game warden in the article how this was possible because Iowa law only allows 2 poles per person and I thought multiple was three or more.

His reply was do not believe everything you read in those magazines because the author was paid to write a article. That about sums it up.

What are the probabilities here:

1.  You misinterpreted the article's definition of "multiple poles" (ie. multiple = 2; or multiple = not all at the same time.

or:

2.  It was the game warden who was lying to protect his butt.  (ie: state workers sometimes believe they are above the law)

3.  The author of the article was lying.

I suggest the order of probability should be exactly as I've listed them.

By the way, the standard lib. response to anything they don't like to hear is to attack the bearer of the news.  They normally don't have reliable objective rebuttle.   Of course they've come out of the woodwork again to do the same thing here.

Just once I'd like to have a liberal respond and explain how the ice age came and went on the earth without factories, vehicle and chimney emissions, and other CO2 releases. How did the ice age leave us and it did not destroy the earth and gave us the world we now live in...that is dying via glabal warming and melting glaciers? What caused the ice age melt-down and why is the earth still here with abundant and developed life on it?

I have offered this dilema for libs to explain before...it just never gets any responsible or qualifying response.
