Hi
Many thanks to you and anyone I may have missed! I concider myself a goof too, if that eases temperaments. I guess it should have been said also, that although growing up in Winona Minn was great for me, I actually met hubby near McGregor Iowa. His family managed back then a camping facility not far out, and one of if not the best times I ever had before we wed, was a stay down there. Well to cut to the heart of love's blissful blindness, we met, liked, loved and a decade later. They have the best B&B there. It's pretty cold either side of that border. So, though my heart misses those fishing excursions we took often up home, Iowa is every bit as inviting and for me exciting as Minnesota. Besides, anyone who thinks Iowa isn't a force to reckon isn't truly a sports fan. Hubby was, is, and always will be a Hawk guy and we keep the peace here by that understanding. Besides that...didn't ISU just burn good ole Minn. Didn't hurt my pride a bit. So though I am a transplant and loved my youth's local...I feel like Iowa has always been a home place too. But at times we did get SOOO CCCOLD up there.
Well my little freezpop is stiring and Hubby too, guess I best skidaddle and warm some tummies with some flaps and toast. Have a great day all.
Lucy.
