So Nobama says no one will be fired for the terror attempt that was missed?

Where's The Accountability?  The Atlantic's Andrew Sullivan fumes, "Here's what that says to the men and women of the security and intelligence institutions of government who failed us: you will never be fired, and you will never face real consequences for failing to do your job competently. And when a system never holds any of its specific members responsible, there is no direct incentive to get things right."

When the messiah hasn't gotten anything right since the start; what incentive does everyone else have to get things right?

Open government and accountability? Where is the promised change? My God!

Where is our leadership?

God only knows!

I noticed in the 'terror speech' that nobama said that we are at war with al quaida - which is a step in the right direction - but come out and say with no uncertainty that muslim extremeists are at war with us - we didn't pick them - they picked us.

Now if the muslim extremeists were American grandmas, I would say we should 'profile' American grandmas and do extra efforts to either keep them off of airplanes or to insure that they are not on a terror mission and have explosives. It just so happens that persons - usually males - of either middle eastern background OR terrorist-trained are the ones who have been carrying out the attempts on us, I say let's profile them and risk any bad words they may say about our profiling habits! Any member of congress or the administration who does not agree with these precautions - get 'em out. We NEED to be safe! And if the persons responsible for keeping us safe thru these efforts fail - ship THEM to Yemen.

We are overdue on being tough on terrorism.
