yeppers sure do rember that heck I remember when margarine used to come in a plastic bag  it was white there was a red dot in the middle and you had to squuse it untill it turened yellow anyone remember back that far? LOL

Yes and I can remember when the margarine was white before the dye bulbs and a lot of people drove 9 miles to Illinois City to get the yellow margarine because it was legal in Illinois and was not in Iowa.

I also remember at the end of WW11 my parents using rationing coupons that I think was for sugar.
