Actually nedl, Bush was on Christmas vacation at Camp David when Richard Reid attempted to blow up an airliner with his shoes on December 22, 2001. He remained at Camp David until shortly after the Christmas holiday when he and Laura went to Crawford, TX where they stayed until after the new year. So it actually makes him the second president to stay on vacation after an attempted terrorist attack. Sorry about your "trifecta."
