ILLINOIS just had their state elections yesterday. Is it just me, or were there no open endorsements from the Messiah Nobama for any liberals in Illinois? I have been travelling and may have missed them, but I was wondering if maybe he had learned a hard lesson from those east coast endorsements that clearly backfired?

The dems take Illinios for granted.  That's why the state was left empty handed when the rail stimulus $$ was handed out last week.  Obama chose to make a big splash with that in Florida so as to buy votes in a crucial state.  Chances are better than fair that Obama's old senate seat will go republican in Nov.  Good luck to him trying to put a positive spin on that!

Now it appears that the lt gov - dem of course - fits right in w/ dems from Illinois. Maybe this sweetens the 'pot' for a conservative to get that seat. We all just shake our heads and wonder about our neighboring state!
