Wow...deja vu all over again! Note my post asking if bird's post sounded familiar has been removed! Who used to revel in getting posts removed and even posters!? If it walks like a duck and talks like a duck? |

Hi HiR
Strong coffee perhaps. Life's just too short and precious to dilly dally like this. Got a real point or one that matters? Fine, move on for the love of yellin peacocks. I guess the up-side of all this granny goose gagling and struttin around is::: you're finally talking about something other than those horrible democrats and wonderful republicans. Yous recall how Ross Perot showed America what an independent can do? Besides hand it over to Clinton. But the meaning is the same. He showed America that the republican mantra was all about getting the go ahead for more OF, and most OF the green. Especially if you already have it in the first place. He showed America that lobbyists are the second scourge of American politics only to the politicians themselves.
Nixon taught America that peace and fleeing a friendly nation in war is okay especially if the people are fed up with it. He taught America that corporate greed is fine as long as he makes a fortune too. Like your HMO:::anyone? He taught America that crime does pay as long as you don't get caught committing it. He taught America that the common standard for currency is for sale to the highest bidders and that foreign oil producers were not to be messed with. That the pain of OUT OF GAS signs and mile long lines of cars waiting for gas is a reality HERE. He taught America the ever increasing need for alternative fuels. He taught America the importance of selecting a good vice president too, on both counts. Ford Taught America the importance of remaining a true good conservative. Not the neo-cons of today. He taught America that even republicans get targeted by psycho's. He taught America that friendly foreign policy is always wise. He taught America that regardless of pardon power, now and then you should not use it.
Carter taught America that we are more than a corporate feeding tube, that foreign oil and Oil companies with politicians in their pockets are Americas worst enemies. He taught America that congress is nothing but wolves, even his own. He learned and taught America that weapons for trade even to our enemies can achieve wonderful results::: for your opponent. Reagan taught us that, NO, America isn't more than a corporate feeding tube. Deregulation is KING and how to take good hard working machinists/implement/steel/ auto and food workers by the belt and tossed them to the wolves and corporate takeover. He taught us that banking bailouts are okay as long as there's too many criminals to try and pardons to give. He taught us that striking workers are unimportant regardless of cause. He taught America that a strong defense is the best protection. He taught America that a bad memory and good scapegoats are UBER important. He taught us that being a fair actor and fine orator can get you the highest office. He taught us that as long as there are pardons, there will be thieves, liars and cheats waiting to asist. GHW Bush taught us that even though taxes are not pleasant, they are without a doubt a necessary evil. He taught us that "Voodoo economics" trickle down theory is actually a bad thing:::Mr. Reagan. He taught us that nation building and government coos are bad and illegal. Ask Mr. Chaney, he agreed vehemently with that sensible logic after the first gulf war. He taught us that corporate bailouts are getting easier.
Clinton taught America that the people do matter more than corporate power. He taught us that the family and education are more important and cutting taxes for the whole of America per capita, more than his predecessors. He taught America how to drive down deficit spending and grown an economy. He taught America that we can offer free trade without opening the flood gates of corporate exodus. He taught us it's not sex if she doesn't:::well you know. He taught us that Funken Wagnall's doesn't have a specific meaning for "IS." He taught America that HYPOCRISY runs rampant within both parties.
GWBush taught us that we should take head to warnings of attack. He taught us that protecting America is a tough and sometimes thankless job nor as easy as they thought. That anything the president does and says is legal and that nothing is more important than revenge, power and corporate greed. He taught America that there's a way to redesign free trade so that corporate exodus IS possible. He taught us that no matter what the people say, a president should "Stay The Course." His Course. He taught us that no matter how many ways he is caught in heinous lie after lie, it's okay, he's the Decider. Don't write anything down, record, photograph, or admit anything, deny::: deny::: deny. He taught America that jobs are less important and "Made IN America" really means shipped TO America. That the top 10%, the "haves and have mores'" can be the president's greatest base. He taught America that you can attack the real enemies in full force later, after you secure the oil and natural gas enemies. He taught America that war for OIL is winnable, if he says so.
Obama has taught America::: so far, that seeing a dream and a goal isn't as easy as realizing them. Especially after one year of taking over the worst economic disaster since 1932. He has taught us that making promises isn't as wise before facing the reality of what his predecessor has done. He has taught America that hope and change are not really immediate hand in hand goals. He has taught America that a divided nation cannot progress. He has taught us that choosing a competent running mate matters A LOT. That no matter what formal birth documents you show, it's not enough. More importantly, he has taught America that in spite of hope, you should let the captains go down with their ships.
It's Lucy, ladies. |
