I knew about Abscam and PMA donations, from the research I went through, but didn't see anything about spousal abuse? Illinois has always been a bastion for scandal in both parties throughout history. I always heard Kennedy might not have gotten elected had it not been for Illinois corruption. But do you believe the loss of his seat will really matter in this mess. I do not. It will take a much larger majority in turn to offer any real gridlock. But then again:::

The loss of another liberal veteran's seat will be just another message to Washington....and another indicater to Nobama that his chances for re-election are fading with every one of these changes. There IS writing on the wall....but we'll see what happens to Murtha's seat.
