Well Bigbrother, you've handled this about the way I expected.   First duck, then ignore it and hope it'll go away and nobody will notice or bother.  Of course when you flat out make it up what else could you do?

(Don't worry about the use of the word "duck" here. No cute reply is required)

Hey, Bigun,

When will you get around to deal with this?    You did't put it off because I failed to address you properly, did you?   I see you had time to interject a few comments elsewhere.

Bird....I'm 4 feet taller than any fence. I'm also very informed, having served the public as a public employee for over 20 years, having been twice elected to public office, and having served capitalists in their profit ventures as a success....

They don't elect dog catchers anymore so was it as high as township trustee?    Give us some proof.

On Feb 14 at 6:02pm you posted "I'd like to see proof of this absolute statement".   The statement you were refierring to was "many residents of Muscatine".

Point 1.   Many is not an absolute.

Point 2.   You used three absolutes in this post.   "any fence" , "study everything" and "no idea".

Point 3    I'd like to see your proof.   Have you studied the mating habits of the Egyptian scarab beetle?   The Israeli/Palestinian fence is over thirty feet high in some places.   Some of us might have a slight inkling of  who we're dealing with.

I am very objective, know my ememies well, and study everything. Please quit assuming things, will ya? You look ridiculous because you make overt statements and have no idea who you are dealing with.

You also accused someone of being rude awhile back.   Do you think telling someone "You look ridiculous" is rude?      Why "overt" as opposed to covert?

Sometimes I feel like a snow owl. This winter weather gives me an inner chill like we feel along our spines when a soothing voice sings How Great Thou Art.

There are many good points here made by you. An individual who truly understands his/her own view, might admit that? These back and forth squabbles didn't start until I made the mistake of saying that 3-1 thing. I know you agreed with it and I would have too but went ahead and proved I WAS WRONG myself. As BigB/BigD/Nig/Ned/HiR and others correctly pointed out:::It was a flawed comment in spit of my misquoting the facts in part. I think if Big Brother served the public honorably and not the system, he should be proud of that service. You were right though regarding the administrative:::and to me even more important::: aspects of scandal and criminality. My father never said what I repeated. It was well before Obama came onto the scene, and he corrected what I thought I recalled he said. I was wrong in, and what was quoted in the first place. Like I have said repeatedly, the fact that the republicans have given America the most criminal administrations is unfortunate, but the democrats have ruled congress more corruptly. The latter doesn't actually run this country, there's this moniker called "the most Powerful Man In the World" The president of the United States and his cabinet, and that makes this whole argument a credit to your assessment. It wasn't unreasonable for those who knew it:::my 3-1 thing was off, to call me on it.

You are right though with how much of it got out of hand, especially after I had to admit what a flawed comment it really was, but got no credit for my efforts to prove I was wrong. The name calling ran across the fences like wild-fire and I too partook, because no matter how much crow one openly eats, they seemed to just get worse, like some  oceanic feeding frenzy. I have not been apologized to, in spite of my admissions and find that unfair by now. I was far from the only bad girl, or::: alone there.

Unless one considers my repeated disdain for GWBush. Again, not because of party per se', just a very bad so called "conservative" politician who rode, with good reason, next to the lowest approval horsey in our history. Nixon. The sadness arises when one realizes that, as you put it, the worst of the worst admins. or such, were the republicans and in the last 50 years no less. Like my father said, three to one, and he was right originally. The depth of that corruption actually staggers the imagination.

Now Obama is a newbie and the majority of America had spoken little more than a year ago, in spite of those of us who felt he didn't deserve to win. At this point outside of some:::seemingly common scandal:::stumbles, he isn't yet shown to be a criminal and hasn't been proved to a foreigner. He has under three years left to either show he's a fine president or a silver tongued booger eater too. I hope he doesn't like hardened mucusTongue out. And to me, ANYONE who stumps for utter failure that might certainly pummel this nation into depression::: hates America. Besides, even I had to be reminded that GW Bush said himself::: that the 852 billion bailout he signed was necessary for those TOO BIG TO FAIL banks and brokers. Wall Street, not main street, got every penny of that 852 billion without the slightest bit of oversight. Congress failed us too. Let's not forget that. Never. Especially when the word SOCIALISM rears it's ugly head.

Regarding my usage of the very recent "past"?

To me, it's not hard to forget that one got repeatedly kicked, clubbed, and punched in the face. But the missing teeth, broken ribs and black and blue eyes, easily help one remember how and who did it. That Happened to our COUNTRY and it wasn't this president's signatures that did it. So in trying to heal these wounds, why are we so willing to forget how we got them while continually hoping for more? If this administration doesn't start to push for and pass legislation to actually heal this nation, Jobs, no more corporate handouts and open tax-free borders, instead of lighting a needed, but not right now health care fuse, then I'll be right there with my vote to give another a shot in 2012. I know our health care system is grossly out of control, but unless we are working again, who can afford it no matter how they design a new system? Jobs! Mr. President, Jobs! memebers of congress.

AMEN!Kiss

For mallory....I guess....

My post was not to you.... did you study everything and miss that? I have not seen what was asked for yet.

I have no obligation to not ignore anyone here...including you. Since you don't make any rules here, watching you wring your hands over me not posting to you on your terms makes me smile. I obviously trip your trigger! If you aren't davie....you must be his wife?

"Many" is not an absolute? TP has not and cannot produce the "many Muscatine residents" as stated. How would anyone know such a thing anyway? Ridiculous!

Was wondering why the new interest in defending davieboy? Lookin' suspicious to me with all that? But like davieboy....you are good at hyjacking others posts.

Have a good day now.
