Hi GuysSmile

Now before I start some stampede, understand that I have never agreed with this health-care distraction. But we have to have some meaningful reform or as any accountant can tell us:::The costs to taxpayers is already astronomically high due to the ridiculous costs of health as it is. Those tens of millions who'd rather buy food, gas and heat than some tiny plan that covers basically nothing, to the tune of billions already, is astronomically high. Lord knows we really don't have a full grasp on the long term costs as it stands, much less what any reform will cost. One cannot argue that this article clearly shows that even they don't know what this proposal would cost. Oh yeah, not to mention the potential constitutional ramifications of trying to force Americans to buy a product or service. The resistance by corporations gaining the most in all this, "leave it alone" notion, should be obvious. That's one big piece of our already dimminishing economic pie. But Obama, "lefties, libs and freeloaders"(many meanings) only seem to want to get some quick fix now and worry about what it will cost later. As the article pointed out, there are a lot of unanswered questions. I for one wished they didn't start it in the first place. And, would scrap the whole plan for now and get to work on JOBS. No work means no ability to pay for any health plan regardless of passage. I mean let's face it::: aside of some HUGE surprise, we have this admin and what ever congress we get in Nov. until 2012. So why not redirect and put honest job reform on the table and work on health care afterward when were working again.

How do we do that? Well that might well be a big hit to Corporate power, greed, and disgusting wealth mongering along with lobbying reform. Cmon 2012.

Thanks HiR, dad had some enlightenment with that link's info. Dad: "I'm sorry Bluebird, I missed that." That's okay, you're only working just 16 hrs a day trying to earn another stay from bankruptcy. He had a tough time grasping that Biden would say that. I said, "See, blathermouth knows no bounds. I think he has Asperger syndrome."
