I understand, I do get long winded at times and that I seemed to be dumping on her. In a way I am. It's because for the most part my centrality offers little room for the third in command to be as hypocritical regardless of party. I call them all as I see them. I didn't give ,Bob Livingston, Dennis Hastert or Newt Gingrich or especially Tom Delay any greater leg-room either. Hastert did a terribly unethical deed against Joel Hefly, Kenny Hulshof, and Steve LaTourette, re: the ethics committee removals and replaced them with Lamar Smith and Tom Cole perhaps to protect Tom Delay. Also with his earmark for highway funds to build a road right past his house. Though not illegal, it should be::: that road fixed to double the value of his property and he sold it. Some of these resignations dealt with stronger issues than having a "bad memory" and as badly as I wanted to giver her the benefit of the doubt, it's hard to criticize and condemn (justly so) a war and all it's bizzar attributes while agreeing to their scope and purpose behind closed doors. Realizing that she wasn't taking bribes or committing constitutional homicide, It's still hypocrisy. Gingrich resigned under much worse circumstances true, after championing the ethics charges against Jim Wright and calling profusely for Clinton's impeachment while cheating himself, obviously hypocrisy abounded, lying to congress, possible tax fraud, and then 300,000$ fine and finally resigned.
It's not just that, it's also her financial interest in the scope of natural gas technology, that's fine, but she doesn't see how that can become an ethics issue for her. Her use of military aircraft for her and family members trips. Her exempting home town businesses from the minimum wage laws. Her sidestepping of the what she knew and when issue is just one problem I have with her. But please don't think I am head hunting here, it's far from the major ethical issue of her predecessors, but she must do better and soon. She has to realize how important her purpose is and think more about how closely she is watched. I have looked at that web site you offered and agree with most of what I read and will continue. It is simply that all our leaders are in the same boat, if they don't get it right every day and start to work on fixing all these problems soon::: we all sink with them regardless of party.

I don't believe I've insulted EVERY poster here. Another use by you of an absolute which is unsupported. You are most deserving and I've barely touched you. I think I've used eceptional restraint.

I don't think I came close to sliming. You can read her response and I don't think she thinks so either. Here are a few quotes I gleaned by Bigbrother in the post "Iraq, in case you forgot" "Another God-run-and-hide-liberal" "You can't get outta that liar syndrome, can you davieboy" "Such an obvious lie. But we knew that about you, didn't we? That ole ego still at work, huh?" I don't know how you define "slime", but to me these come closer to it than anything I did to babybird.

Most liberals do. What we don't respect is outright lies and distortions. The Republican leadership can't seem to make a statement about health care without including some. How do you defend the one who basicly insisted all old people would have to appear before a death panel eevery 5 years which would decide how long they would be allowed to live?
