TP amd Mal - no, I am not BB nor am I one of his alter egos, but I just had to add my thoughts on this "proof" that lowering taxes will increase revenue. I don't need some kind of rip-off study to tell me that having less taxes taken out of my check leaves me with more money in my pocket. So what do I do with that money? I have lots of choices, pay bills, save some, buy new unders, go to a movie and buy popcorn, have a few beers with my friends - but trust me I would manage to spend it. So what do you think spending is if it doesn't increase revenues? The folks that run the businesses where I spend my bucks also do the same things that I did with my money and so on and so on. Is that so difficult to understand? Perhaps that is why we call you libs denseocrats.

The assertion was that tax money to the government would increase, not that you would have a few extra dollars for beer.   Do you think the sales tax on the beer you bought will make up for the income tax reductions your man Bush made?   Actually I don't think the Bush cuts put a dime in your pocket for beer.   They were directed to the guys who want to increase their main yacht from a 50 footer to 75 footer.

mallcontent....what you allude to, I would guess, are my direct posts to absolute lies about me. If you think that is "demanding", then so be it. My demands have remained unaswered...so the demandee has proven themselves to be nothing but a liar again, and again, and yet again. need I provide more.

As for your redundant request...HiR has posted answers to your taxes questions time and time again. You appear to be sort of like the juvenile that does not get the answer they want from one adult...so they keep asking all others; all the while; while there are answers already posted to those questions. (Boring!). (Get it?)

Your surrogates are doing a poor job of defending your assertion that cutting taxes increases tax revenue.   I've seen no math to substantiate it, just some questionable references.   Don't be so lazy, write it up and include the numbers.

I'll help you out by starting with the sales tax.

Assume it's at 7% to start with.    Now assume it's cut by 5 cents.   You and your surrogates now have another 5 cents for every dollar you spend.   Buy $20 worth of stuff and you have a whole dollar.   You spend that dollar and you contribute 2 cents to the  tax revenue.   Maybe a little more if you buy beer.   Tax  revenue is short about 98 cents.  That's a loss in tax revenue.

Some would accuse you of being a liar.   I think your just someone who doesn't pay attention and repeats stuff without thinking.   You at one time said you "study everything".   I think you didn't study enough in this case.

Some may say when Bigbrother stated he studies "EVERYTHING" he lied. I do admit it's all in a person's perspective.
