TP, BB, Mal etc.Smile

Mystery solved! My deepest appologies to BigB or anyone else who may have felt they were the inteded victim. BB is right though, I always use a smily or such, but always in the beginning of my posts and sign off myself, never with some sideways symbol. Be that as it may, As I rushed to get set before the tube to see who's soon to be the next "Idol" I didn't sign out and:::well I just found out my Uncle had some fun at my expense. Hubby told me he, Uncle, didn't seem to know it would be lodged against me, and thought it was funny after reading all the name calling and such regarding our president, that he'd give you fellas another topic to mull over. I'm so sorry:::he and I have had some harsh words as a result. But rest assured, I would never do or allow such a nasty thing no matter what. So:::as I have, could you too forgive his idiocy? It will NEVER HAPPEN again.

I still say it's wishful thinking, birth certificate or not.

Lucy.

Bird...thanks for the clarification here, and verification that you "always use a smiley or such" when posting.

davie quote: "Babybird always signs her post "Lucy" and never uses symbols to post a smiley face."

This makes davieboy a documented liar once again and also proves how level of comprehension on things before him that otherwise would be so easy to verify. I guess we all can be glad he does not work in the national security field.

As for your uncle and hubby...it has always been, and has always created a problem of one sort or another when users let friends or family use their user-name/IDs to post here. This is the perfect example.

In fact, I just had a private message exchange a little while ago with another user here regarding this very issue. We had concluded that more than one user was posting under your name due to the substance and grammar changes occurring that we noted between posts. Thanks for confirming what we suspected anyway.

As for me....I'll leave the calling of those actions as "idiocy" to you and maybe others here.

BTW...isn't is always funny when davie has to leave and go to work? You can always tell by his attack posts just coming to a stop.

Anyway...this post was about nobama's wife acknowledging what country her husband considers his home country. Not a good thing at all for the US.

Uncle Lou?  Naw, more likely Uncle Joe.

But getting back to the subject from which we were distracted:

"AP declared Obama “Kenyan-Born” (in 2004)

What most people know is that the Associated Press (AP) is one of the largest, internationally recognized, syndicated news services.  What most people don’t know that is in 2004, the AP was a “birther” news organization.

How so?  Because in a syndicated report, published Sunday, June 27, 2004, by the Kenyan Standard Times, and which was, as of this report, available at

http://web.archive.org/web/20040627142700/eastandard.net/headlines/news26060403.htm

The AP reporter stated the following:

Kenyan-born US Senate hopeful, Barrack Obama, appeared set to take over the Illinois Senate seat after his main rival, Jack Ryan, dropped out of the race on Friday night amid a furor over lurid sex club allegations.

This report explains the context of the oft cited debate, between Obama and Keyes in the following Fall, in which Keyes faulted Obama for not being a “natural born citizen”, and in which Obama, by his quick retort, “So what? I am running for Illinois Senator, not the presidency”, self-admitted that he was not eligible for the officeSeeing that an AP reporter is too professional to submit a story which was not based on confirmed sources (ostensibly the Obama campaign in this case), the inference seems inescapable: Obama himself was putting out in 2004, that he was born in Kenya.

The difficulty in finding this gem of a story is hampered by Google, which is running flak for Obama:  because if you search for “Kenyan-born US Senate” you wont find it, but if you search for the phrase without quotes you will find links which talk about it."

Did this happen or is this a hoax?
