Consumer Price Index
April 14, 2010
On a seasonally adjusted basis, the CPI-U rose 0.1 percent in March after being unchanged in February. The index for all items less food and energy was unchanged in March after rising 0.1 percent in February.

Employment Cost Index

Total compensation costs for civilian workers increased 0.5 percent, seasonally adjusted, from September to December 2009. For the year ended December 2009, compensation costs, wages and salaries, and benefit costs each rose 1.5 percent.

Employment Situation
April 02, 2010
Nonfarm payroll employment increased by 162,000 in March, and the unemployment rate held at 9.7 percent. Temporary help services and health care continued to add jobs over the month. Employment in federal government also rose, reflecting the hiring of temporary workers for Census 2010. Employment continued to decline in financial activities and in information.

Producer Price Index
April 22, 2010
The Producer Price Index for Finished Goods rose 0.7 percent in March, seasonally adjusted. This advance followed a 0.6-percent decline in February and a 1.4-percent increase in January. Prices for finished goods other than foods and energy inched up 0.1 percent.

Productivity and Costs

Productivity increased 6.9 percent in the nonfarm business sector during the fourth quarter of 2009 as unit labor costs fell 5.9 percent (seasonally adjusted annual rates, revised). In manufacturing, productivity rose 6.6 percent while unit labor costs fell 6.3 percent.

Real Earnings

Real average hourly earnings for all employees fell 0.2 percent from February to March, seasonally adjusted. This decrease stems from a 0.1 percent decrease in average hourly earnings and a 0.1 percent increase in the Consumer Price Index for All Urban Consumers (CPI-U). Real average weekly earnings rose 0.1 percent over the month.

U.S. Import and Export Price Indexes
April 13, 2010
The U.S. Import Price Index rose 0.7 percent in March. The increase was attributable to higher prices for both fuel and nonfuel imports and followed a 0.2 percent decline in February. Export prices also rose 0.7 percent in March after declining 0.4 percent the previous month.

Why would a liberal post such negative indexes when he has clearly defended nobama on some of these elements?   Remember posting something like: "How is obama responsible for that"?  This is all on his watch and on the Lib Congress that is in their fourth full year of doing nothing for us.
